What's in it
+

Freeze-dried coconut water. That is the direction for Original: one ingredient, no added sugar, no flavourings. The finished ingredient list and nutrition panel will be published here once the formula is lab-verified.

How to use
+

Tear the stick at the notch, pour it into 240 ml (8 oz) of cold water, cap and shake for a few seconds. It turns faintly cloudy, the way water from a young coconut does. Drink it the same day.

Shipping and returns
+

First-run orders ship when the first batch clears testing; we will email a date before we charge. If it is not for you, tell us within 30 days of delivery and we will refund the order, opened packs included.

Storage
+

Ambient and dry. No refrigeration until it is mixed. Keep the packs closed; the powder is hygroscopic and will pull moisture from the air if left open.

Carton versus stick

Same source.
A tenth of the weight.

A carton of coconut water is mostly water you already have at home. The stick carries the part that is not.

Quality standards

Tested before
it ships.

Every batch gets a certificate of analysis, and every order gets a card that tells you where to read it.

01

Identity

Origin and variety of the coconuts, and the supplier's process record, logged per batch.

02

Microbial

Total plate count, yeast and mould, coliforms and pathogens screened by a third-party lab.

03

Heavy metals

Lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury tested to the limits used for food supplements in the US.

04

Composition

Potassium, sodium, magnesium and sugars measured, published per stick, not estimated from a database.

These are the standards we are building the first run to. The first certificate of analysis will be linked here when it exists.

Questions

Before you
order.

How much water per stick?
+

240 ml, or 8 oz, is the serving: one stick to one glass bottle filled to the shoulder. Up to 330 ml gives a lighter drink. Below 200 ml it gets sweet and thick.

Why does it go cloudy?
+

Because it is coconut water. Water from a young coconut is never fully clear; it carries fine solids that scatter light. When the powder dissolves, those come back, so the drink turns faintly hazy rather than glassy.

Does it work in a plastic bottle?
+

Yes. Any bottle with a cap works. The 300 ml glass bottle in the starter kit is there because it holds exactly one serving and we like drinking from it, not because the powder needs it.

Is it better than plain water for hydration?
+

Not for everyday hydration, and we will not tell you otherwise. The trials on our science page found coconut water comparable to water and sports drinks. What it adds is potassium, some sodium and magnesium, and a taste you may keep drinking.

When will it ship?
+

First-run orders ship when the first batch clears third-party testing. We email a date before charging your card.
